Information We Collect

  • Display Name: Optional name you choose to identify yourself to contacts.
  • Device Information: Basic device identifiers for push notifications and app functionality.

Information We Do NOT Collect

  • Message content (end-to-end encrypted)
  • Contact lists from your phone
  • Location data
  • Browsing history
  • Biometric data

Quantum Security

QChat uses advanced quantum-secure protocols:

  • QKD (Quantum Key Distribution): Keys exchanged via BB84 protocol
  • Eavesdrop Detection: Any interception attempt is immediately detected
  • Bell Pair Entanglement: Messages secured through quantum entanglement

These protocols ensure that even with future quantum computers, your past messages remain secure.

Information We Collect

  • Account Information: Email address, name, and password (hashed)
  • Usage Data: API calls, compression operations, and backend usage for billing
  • Payment Information: Processed securely via Stripe (we don't store card numbers)

Data Processing

When you use our quantum compression or other services, your data is processed in real-time and not stored beyond the duration of the API call, unless you explicitly enable logging for debugging purposes.
